the European Beer Museum at Stenay
Located between the fortress at Sedan and the Verdun remembrance sites, not far from Orval Abbey, the Beer Museum at Stenay tells the story of brewing arts and traditions, from their origins 12,000 years ago to the present, in an exhibition space covering over 2,500m².
The museum’s collection of over 50,000 exhibits are organised into an amusing educational trail that stimulates all your senses: sight, taste, smell, touch and hearing.
The tour ends at La Taverne, where you can taste and buy local specialities, including a wide range of artisan and industrial, top-fermented, bottom-fermented and spontaneously fermented beers.
