JARDIN DE LORRAINE
JARDIN DE LORRAINE is a fruit-growing co-operative, founded in 1969 by Lorraine mirabelle plum growers.
The orchards are located at the foot of the Côtes de Meuse and extend over around 60km.
Marie-Hélène is your guide for a tour of the orchards: while half the group learn about the site’s history and its surroundings and how the co-operative works, the other half meets some of the growers and learns about different aspects of their work.
The tour ends with a tasting of local products including Lorraine punch and cocktails with canapés, terrines from the Barrois region, dried mirabelle plums and Meuse valley biscuits.
