This cemetery is dedicated to the American soldiers who were killed in the Second World War. Visitor can explore the impressive Memorial built of white Portland stone and the field of honour with its 5,310 gravestones. Surrounded by trees that recall the Ardennes Forest, the cemetery and memorial commemorate the Battle of the Ardennes and its associated logistical operations.
During their tour of the site, visitors can experience an interpretation of historical resources and presentations about the site’s history, the battles commemorated and the stories of selected individual soldiers.
Guided tours are led by a qualified National Association for Interpretation guide (the US equivalent of Interpret Europe).
