101st Airborne Museum
The 101st Airborne Museum is located in a former Belgian Army Officers’ Mess built in 1936.
This prestigious building was used by the Germans as a Wehrmacht NCOs’ club during the occupation of Bastogne during the Second World War.
After the war, the building was used by the Red Cross, who set up a makeshift temporary hospital there.
This unique building, with its rich history, is the perfect setting in which to present the history of the US 101st Airborne Division and the other units who fought in the Battle of Bastogne from December 1944 to January 1945.
The building has been carefully restored to preserve its original character. An exclusive collection of objects from the Battle of the Ardennes and realistic dioramas with surprising figures will immerse you into the drama of the battle.
It’s a must-see museum!
